Dr Andy Stevens

We recently learnt of the death of Dr Andy Stevens, formerly the Conservation Officer for Plymouth City Council and a good friend of Radford Heritage Group. Dr Stevens' tours of the Arboretum during the Plymstock Civic Society Annual Walk and Coffee Evenings were always popular. It is our intention to plant a memorial tree and dedicate the Arboretum to Dr Stevens in commemoration of his lifetime's work in conservation. Our condolences go out to his family. He will be greatly missed by all involved with conservation in the City of Plymouth..

Date fixed for Annual Walk and Coffee Evening
This year's Annual Walk and Coffee Evening will take place on Tuesday, 9th May, 2006, starting at 18.15 (6.15pm) at the Beckly Centre, Radford Dip. Refreshments will be available. Tickets 50p from members of Plymstock Civic Society and the Radford Heritage Group. Enquiries to: radfordarboretum@yahoo.co.uk
